What is The Bike Cave?

The Bike Cave at Texas State University is an on-campus bike shop that provides sales, maintenance, and education for Bobcats. We sell affordable, recycled bikes and accessories, offer free workspace and tools for self-service repairs, and provide paid services and expert help with maintenance and repairs. 

We are located at the Colorado building room 100 on Pleasant St.

Services

Bikes for Sale: The Bike Cave sells a variety of affordable, recycled bikes, including road, mountain, hybrid, and cruiser styles, along with accessories.

Maintenance and Repairs: We offer self-service workstations with tools, air, and free flat repair materials, as well as paid services from student mechanics for comprehensive tune-ups and repairs.

Education: Learn more about bikes! We provides hands-on instruction from trained mechanics and self-directed tutorials to teach students how to maintain and repair their bikes safely.

Register Your Bike

Registering your bike at Texas State University helps protect it from theft, makes it easier to get it back if it is lost or impounded, and supports safer, more organized bike use on campus.

Mondays: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

Tuesdays: CLOSED

Wednesdays: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. 

Thursdays: CLOSED

Fridays: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. 

Saturdays & Sundays : CLOSED
